Chibuikem Akamnonu, MD
Chibuikem Akamnonu, MD"Chibuikem "Dr. Chibu" Akamnonu, M.D. has joined FLH Medical, P.C. Orthopaedic Surgery, a member of Orthopaedic Care of the Finger Lakes, the region's LARGEST and LEADING board-certified orthopaedic team.
"Dr. Chibu" has extensive fellowship training in spinal conditions and offers comprehensive services to improve function and relieve back pain. He completed his residency in orthopaedic spinal surgery at SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York and his specialty fellowship in spine surgery at New York University-Hospital for Joint Diseases, New York, NY. He earned his medical degree from Columbia University College of Physicians & Surgeons, New York, NY. 
Raman Dhawan, MD
Raman Dhawan, MDRaman Dhawan, M.D., specializes in spine, general orthopedic and trauma surgery. He received his medical degree from JN Medical College of India and later trained at Royal National Orthopedic Hospital in London, England. He completed his orthopedic residency at SUNY Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse, NY and a fellowship in spinal surgery at the University of California, San Diego, California.
Guy Klein, DO
Guy Klein, DODr. Klein has fellowship training in two subspecialties: adult reconstruction and orthopaedic trauma. Dr. Klein completed his medical degree at Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine and did his orthopaedic residency training at University Hospitals of Cleveland. James B. Mark, MD
James B. Mark, MDDr. Mark is a graduate of Jefferson Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. During a 10 year period of active duty in the United States Navy, Dr. Mark completed a surgical internship, 3 years as a Flight Surgeon attached to Carrier Air Wing 7, 4 years of residency training in Orthopaedics at the Naval Regional Medical Center, Portsmouth Virginia, and 2 years as a staff Orthopaedic Surgeon at Submarine Base, Groton Connecticut. Dr. Mark completed his military service by retiring from the United States Naval Reserves after a combined service of 21 years. Dr. Mark devotes the majority of his practice to the care and management of sports related injuries. Treatment of athletes and their injuries encompasses all levels of competition. From grammar school to the professional level, all athletes are treated with timely, efficient, and comprehensive treatment plans. Dr. Mark uses only up to date surgical techniques and is highly accomplished in state of the art arthroscopic techniques. He works closely with the areas top therapists and athletic trainers to provide athletes a successful, safe, and expedient return to competition.

Dr. Mark previously served as sports consultant and team physician to the United States Coast Guard Academy, and is presently serving as orthopaedic sports consultant to Hobart and William Smith Colleges, Keuka College and FLCC athletic teams.

Dr. Mark is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons and a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. He is also a member of the American Orthopaedic Society of Sports Medicine. He is a member of the Rochester Orthopaedic Society, the New York State Society of Orthopaedic Surgeons, American Medical Association, and New York State and Ontario County Medical Societies.

Dr. Mark as a sports enthusiast maintains an active lifestyle with his family that includes snowboarding and scuba diving. He also enjoys snowmobiling, riding ATV, and trap shooting.
Helen Wong, MD
Helen Wong, MDDr. Wong is a graduate of Harvard University and the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry. While at Harvard, she was a John Harvard Scholar and received her degree in Biology with cum laude in General Studies. She then received her M.D. at the University of Rochester and was inducted into the AOA Honor Society.

Her post graduate training consisted of a one year internship in general surgery followed by four years of orthopaedic residency training at the University of Rochester Medical Center. During her years of training, emphasis was placed on joint replacement surgery, trauma, and injuries to the upper extremity. Her practice encompasses Ontario, Wayne, Seneca, and Yates Counties. She performs surgery at Geneva General Hospital and Clifton Springs Hospital. She participates in the Total Joint Center Program at Clifton Springs Hospital where she performs state of the art joint replacement surgery.

Dr. Wong is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons and a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. She is also certified by the ISCD to interpret bone densiometry and to treat osteoporosis. She is a member of the Rochester Orthopaedic Society, The New York State Society of Orthopaedic Surgeons, as well as the New York State and Ontario County Medical Societies.

Dr. Wong is an avid runner who enjoys the outdoors and spending time with her family hiking and skiing.
Andrew Ritting, MD
Andrew Ritting, MDDr. Andrew Ritting specializes in Orthopedic Surgery and has extensive training in hand and upper extremity conditions and offers comprehensive services to improve function and relieve pain in the hand, elbow, wrist and shoulder.

Dr. Ritting attended medical school at Wake Forest University School of Medicine and completed his residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Connecticut-School of Medicine. Dr. Ritting completed his fellowship in Orthopaedic Hand and Upper Extremity at the University of California-Irvine.

Dr. Andrew Ritting’s interests include skiing, snowboarding, soccer, guitar, fishing and waterskiing.

Kevin R. Hopson, DPM
Kevin R. Hopson, DPMDr. Hopson is a graduate of the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine. While at O.C.P.M., Dr. Hopson was a member of the Pi Delta National Honor Society. Following podiatry school, Dr. Hopson completed a three-year residency program under the Yale/VA Connecticut Healthcare System in New Haven, CT. Dr. Hopson received both primary podiatric medical training, as well as advanced surgical training in foot and ankle surgery.

During his residency, there was an emphasis placed on diabetic and non-diabetic limb salvage and reconstructive surgical techniques. Dr. Hopson has extensive forefoot and rearfoot surgical experience, working under a multi-disciplinary team approach. Dr. Hopson, who attended St. John Fisher College, returns to the Finger Lakes Region to continue his interest in these areas at Interlakes Orthopaedic Surgery, P.C.

Dr. Hopson is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association, New York Podiatric Medical Association, as well as the American Diabetes Association. 

Dr. Hopson is an avid sports fan. He also enjoys working out and spending time with his family.
